02 / What gets checked
The new construction checklist
Every system is walked and operated, not spot-checked. Findings arrive as a photo-documented PDF within 24 hours — usually the same evening.
Read the guides- Roof: shingle alignment, nailing, flashing at valleys and penetrations
- Attic: insulation depth, ventilation, unsupported wiring, ductwork
- Electrical: breaker sizing, AFCI/GFCI operation, panel labeling
- Plumbing: fixture drainage, water heater venting, TPR discharge
- HVAC: temperature split, condensate drain, secondary pan
- Exterior: grading, brick weep holes, window and door flashing
- Interior: door swing, cabinet operation, drywall and paint finish
- Structure: framing bearing, cut or modified truss members, slab cracking
